SHOTGUN WEDDING ~ INDIE ALE HOUSE

Shotgun Wedding is a Cantaloupe pale ale  that has been aged in Chardonnay barrels.  The name made me laugh,  ‘can’t elope’ - ‘shotgun wedding’.   It pours a hazy golden amber colour.  Nose is fruity, funky with a touch of wine.  Beer itself is quite tart and sour (possibly lactic fermentation?).  Flavours of lemon, melon and yeast.  I enjoyed this.  Interesting.
