GREEN THUMB ~ GARDEN BREWERY
Ginger IPA. Garden Brewery makes their IPA but adding fresh root ginger to the vat after the first fermentation is done. The Brewery uses Builion hops . (These hops were a major variety since the 1940′s, but had a fall from popularity since hops with better storage stability have been introduced) The bullion hops lend some blackcurrant notes. Ginger dominated this beer, followed by a mild bitterness.

7.2% from Hamilton, Ontario

IBU 60 -beer 55-
