SAWDUST CITY ~ MAPLE
BUTTERTART BEER

Sampled on draught. The poured a rich amber colour with a moderate head. The nose is all maple sugar (sometimes smelling a little artificial). The beer tasted like drinking concentrated maple walnut ice cream. It was extremely sweet and did not taste like beer at all, but some crazy soda concoction. This beer is a bit of a one trick pony, ½ pint was more than enough.
The beer started off being brewed for a Beer Festival. The town of Midland submitted a name and a concept, and the rest is history. The beer took most popular brew at Session Muskoka Craft Beer Festival, the prize being carried at the LCBO for a year. Due out fall of 2015, you too can sample and decide on what you think of this novelty.
