RASPBERRY UBER  ~ NICKEL BROOK

Nickel Brook expanded their Berliner Weisse offerings this year by offering a limited release version with raspberries.  The beer is a beautiful rich hazy deep ruby pink hue with lively carbonation.  Aroma is mostly raspberries.  Taste is a pleasant combination of tart raspberries (it is made with fresh Ontario raspberries) and the naturally sour Berliner Weisse.    The beer is as much a fruit beer as it is a Berliner.  I liked this much better than their initial offering of ‘plain’ Uber.  Simple but really enjoyable, I will look for the bottle at the liquor store.
