HACKER –PSCHORR HEFE WEISSE ~ PAULANER GRUPPE

Temperatures are really warming up here, a nice hefe before dinner after work, hits the spot after a hard day. Sampled from a corked bottle this beer poured a cloudy (unfiltered) amber-golden colour, topped with dense off white creamy foam. The aroma has all the traditional wheat beer components: clove, banana, bubble gum, orange marmalade and fresh bread Flavour is milder than the nose containing banana, lots of spice including cloves, bubble gum, orange and citrus and sweet bread. The bitterness is very low and the finish is off-dry. The carbonation was soft, and the body was medium. This is a great example of a traditional hefe – excellent summer beer!
5.5 % From Munich, Germany

Malts: Brewing wheat grown in the Champagne region of France
