MANGO LAGER ~ CHEETAH BREWERS INTERNATIONAL

I consumed this one while waiting for my Hakka take-out. I have never heard of them before, yet they are brewed locally. I believe they only sell to restaurants directly. Sampled from a tin, the beer poured a clear golden colour with a white head that quickly disappeared. No lacing was evident. The nose was predominantly mango. The taste too had mango at the forefront. The mango was sweet and had an artificial flavour to it, it reminded me of jello. It tasted more like a mango and beer soda than a beer brewed with mango. The mouthfeel was on the thin side and the carbonation was relaxed. I am not a fan of the artificial flavour but I could see how this may go well with a spicy Hakka or Indian dish.
