WRIGLEY ~ LEFT FIELD BREWERY

Wrigley is a new one-off brew from Left Field Brewery. Wrigley is the name of the adorable brewery mascot pictured on the bottle tag and a portion of money from the sales of this brew go to improving the local dog park. This Oat Pale ale was sampled on draught. It poured a slightly opaque bright golden yellow colour with a white head, which left lacing. Aromatic right citrus orange hops and grains on the nose. Initially quite hoppy this beers flavour changed flavour from the initial sip and then slightly as beer warmed. My first impression was of the hops, but the second sip was fruitier as some honey sweetness and tangerine and orange shone through – lots of lemon too. The oats seem to give it a slight creaminess and a full mouthfeel. The finish is bold in this hop forward brew has hints of orange peel and pine. Very drinkable.
