SHAGBARK STOUT ~ SWEETGRASS

STOUT WEEK - This stout is the latest offering from Sweetgrass, the brewing arm of the Auld Spot Pub on the Danforth in Toronto.  It is a seasonal offering on limited release.  Sampled on drought it pours a deep dark brown with a small head.  The beers nose and taste include wood, earth, chocolate, smoke and a little sweetness.  The beer is full flavoured and moderately carbonated. The end has a good hop kick.  A decent stout, I will go and revisit this one.
